Joe Zucco, PT
Joe Zucco graduated from the University of Missouri with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2002. He was first introduced to manual therapy while living and working in Miami where he completed a certification program taught by Alan Evans. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy while participating in a manual therapy residency with the Ola Grimsby Institute. Joe worked under the tutelage of Rob Tillman in Little Rock as he completed the residency. He has completed two years of manual therapy residency training with the Ola Grimsby Institute and is also recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
Joe was first exposed to physical therapy as a patient. After suffering an ACL tear while playing basketball in high school, he underwent an extensive reconstructive surgery. Following four months of intense physical therapy which enabled him to return to the court, he soon realized his calling in life was to help others as he had been helped through physical therapy.
At his clinic, Joe provides the highest quality of care to his patients. With his training background, manual therapy (various hands-on mobilization techniques) and specific scientific therapeutic exercise progressions are emphasized due to the positive long-term affects on tissue healing qualities. Joe has experience with sports injury rehab with and without surgery as well as various musculoskeletal injuries of the spine and extremities. However he has extensive experience and training with spine pathologies.
